Benjamin Fleischer grew up in Flossmoor, Illinois, and has lived in Philadelphia, New York, Jerusalem, Beer Sheva as well as Chicago. He received a Bachelor’s of Applied Science in Biomedical Science and a minor in Chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering and Applied Sciences in 2000. Benjamin completed one year of medical school at the Ben-Gurion University In The Negev M.D. Program In International Medicine in Israel in 2004. Since then, he has worked in clinical research, currently as a Program Assistant in the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine Dermatology Clinical Trials Unit. He enjoys managing the unit’s financial and trial data, designing databases, serving as the first call for IT or technical issues, and working with his wonderful co-workers. Benjamin is now in his first year in a Master’s Program in Computer Information Sciences at the Northwestern University School of Continuing Studies and has an interest in a career in BioInformatics.
